A Flight Dispatcher is also responsible to provide and formulate the best possible solutions to meet or exceed Clients' expectations in the safest and most effective manner.
Proactively, ensure that the flight scheduling system is updated at all times, creates and maintains solutions to provide recovery options.
Supports internal departments by providing timely and accurate information about the flight activity.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategist Provide the highest level of safety and service to all PJC flights.
Anticipate and pro-actively take corrective steps to prevent potential deviations from impacting a flight.
Identify and suggest ways to integrate process improvements and efficiencies for the various job functions.
Create operational flight plans using the safest and most economical route.
Timely request/revise and obtain confirmations of all required permissions to overfly en-route countries and operate at airports of departure, arrival and alternates.
Frequently assess the overall weather with special emphasis on flight hazards en-route and at airports of departure, arrival and alternates.
Provide advisory services to the relevant departments on route or destination ranges for operations and to support Sales/Charter department needs.
Confirm the arrangement of ground assistance services for Owners and Crews as per flight activity, ensuring all services are confirmed for the current days flights.
Effectively maintain communications with operating Crews on the ground or airborne.
Complete all tasks assigned accurately and on time.
Always ensure company flight scheduling system is updated correctly and in a timely manner.
Provide detailed account of events as deviations unfold and communicate updates as they become available according to company procedures.
Maintain daily paperwork record keeping as required by regulations and company policies.
This role is a safety sensitive position requiring FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Screening as well as placement into the company random drug screening program.
DELIVERABLES Clients, aircraft and crews positioned for trips on time and efficiently.
Coordination with crews and Operations Management to ensure compliance with company guidelines, maintenance contracts, and/or FAA regulations.
Positive working relationships with internal business partners to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
Provides error free flight planning for all PJC flight operations.
Follow fuel planning and arrangement processes to maintain safety and efficiently levels.
Continuously flight follows and updates flight scheduling system with accurate information.
SIGNIFICANT INTERFACES / PARTNERS Flight Crews, Client Services, Scheduling, Maintenance, Crew Support; Flight Support Management, Flight Operations Management, Sales & Charter Department.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
FAA Flight Dispatcher License (Preferred) Associates degree required (Bachelors Degree in Aviation, Aviation Management or similar field preferred) or equivalent education and experience.
Over two years aviation experience required.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables required.
Ability to pinpoint issues and facilitate problem resolution when necessary required.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions required.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations required.

This Role has shift base schedule and will require working some, nights, weekends, and holidays.
