We are seeking an Electrical Control System Specialist to design, develop, and debug custom electrical control strategies for our family of high-quality glass processing equipment, including PLC, CNC, and PC systems.
Position will emphasize programming and commissioning of the control systems, both here and in the field.
May require some travel.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant work experience designing and programming industrial control systems.
Will be working with a variety of control platforms, such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Bosch, Beckhoff, and GE Fanuc.
Should have knowledge of one or more of these platforms and be capable of learning new ones quickly.
Candidates should also have:
- strong troubleshooting skills, - a working knowledge of CAD and standard drawing procedures, and - familiarity with prevalent electrical codes.
